At Google AR Perception, I develop computer vision models and advance multi-modal capabilities for AI assistants in AR glasses and goggles. My expertise, recognized with an O1 visa, lies in 3D Object Interaction and Understanding, at the intersection of Computer Vision and Human-Computer Interaction.
Specialized in Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Systems. Co-authored influential ChromoUpdate paper (CHI'20) cited by 23 papers and featured in 50+ global news articles in 15 languages. TA'ed Performance Engineering.
Undergrad Research & Innovation Scholar in Multi-camera indoor localization, featured in the top 14% of selected student highlight presentations among 13 projects. TA'ed Computer System Security graduate subject. Led MIT's Computer Security Club (TechSec) as President from 2018 to 2019.
Improving Gemini model utilization for text reading. Designed and developed ML models for semantic segmentation, activity detection and scene understanding. Contributed to the SANPO dataset, a computer vision scene understanding dataset. Lead inventor on a patent (US 12520028) for a cascaded ML architecture for resource-constrained devices, earning a $5,000 award.
Launched four Chromebook features used by millions of users, including Vertical Split View, Desks Restore, Alt-Tab Mode, and Dark/Light Mode Scheduler, with major media coverage in over 15 news articles in 5 major Chromebook and Android news outlets.
Proposed solutions for security vulnerabilities in Instagram and GraphAPI reported through the Facebook Bug Bounty Program. Launched an internal C++ pipeline to extract "indicators of compromise", enabling real-time intrusion investigation instead of a 2-day delay and saving 2TB of space per day.
Key projects and features I've developed that impacted millions of Chromebook users and hundreds of AndroidXR users and developers worldwide
Enabled users to snap windows to the top and bottom halves of vertical screen external monitors, including rotatable displays.
Restore windows to the correct virtual desktops after a crash or logout, facilitating a seamless transition across login sessions and different devices.
Enabled automatic scheduling to switch to dark mode after sunset and switch to light mode after sunrise.

What industry experts say about my work
You can now select 'All Desks' or 'Current Desks' when using ALT-TAB and it just works. So slick!
Founder of Chrome Unboxed
Snapping apps to the top or bottom is super useful. From my perspective and use cases, this will be a godsend for coding.
Founder of About Chromebook
The improved window management is a big deal for coders and portrait artists. A vertical screen space can increase a developer's view of their code by a whopping 82%.
